This policy covers the website swdevpa.com. Each app has its own privacy policy, see section 8. The German version (Datenschutzerklärung) is legally binding.

No data protection officer has been appointed, as there is no statutory obligation to do so.

2. Summary

  • This website does not set cookies and does not use local storage.
  • There is no tracking, no analytics, no advertising and no embedded third-party content.
  • Fonts are served from our own server; no connection to Google Fonts is made.
  • Personal data is only processed technically when you load the site and when you email us.

3. Hosting and server logs

This website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the site, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data:

  • IP address
  • date and time of access
  • requested page or file
  • referrer URL
  • browser and operating system (user agent)

This processing serves to deliver the website and keep it secure, in particular to defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the stable and secure operation of the website. A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition. More information: Cloudflare privacy policy.

4. Contact by email

If you email us, we process your email address and the content of your message to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

Email is handled through Gmail, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Messages are deleted once the enquiry has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Links to external sites

The website links to the Apple App Store and to the apps' own websites. These are only loaded when you click a link; from then on, the respective provider's privacy policy applies.

6. Retention

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods.

7. TLS encryption

Connections to this website are encrypted with TLS, indicated by "https://" in your browser's address bar.

8. Privacy in our apps

The apps have their own privacy policies and terms, available on each product site and inside the apps:

EduSwipe has been removed from the App Store and is no longer offered. Questions about previously processed data can be sent to the email address above at any time.

9. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
